Zen Mommy Minute: Start a Book Club with your Child

Take time to make time with your children. Special time. One on one time. They are only this age ONCE and if they still WANT to  spend time with you, now is the time to make that happen.

Everyone is busy and you know what they say about “best-intentions”… so be sure to schedule this time to make sure it happens on a weekly/monthly or some sort of regular basis.

In this video I share an idea my tween daughter thought of that we are starting in our home… a Mommy/Daughter BOOK CLUB. I hope it inspires you to plan something fun with your kids too. If you come up with some creative ideas, I’d love to hear about them in the comment section below!!!

  1. Definitely agree with the need to do this. A cool company we’ve been talking to that helps parents/grandparents read to their young ones using the net is Readeo. The technology is Skype-like and is catered to families living in different cities, travelers, the military. Check it out!
