One of our greatest roles as a parent is to come to know and love our child for the unique giflts they are so that as they grow, they can better come to know and love themselves. This getting to know one another, or bonding, is one of the many benefits of massage.
Infant Massage: Group Classes in St. Louis
Hi! I’m, Suzanne Tucker, mom of twins plus two, a Physical Therapist and a Certified Educator of Infant Massage. I teach a baby massage class called KNOW * LOVE * MASSAGE to new parents and their children and would love for you to be there. Join us as we connect to ourselves, our babies and each other in our new role as “mommy” and/or “daddy” every Wednesday at 10am. All ages and siblings are welcome although ideal age for participation in a group massage class is pre-crawling.
The 4 week course will teach you how to practice mindfulness with your baby as you massage 1) Feet and Legs, 2) Tummy and Colic Series, 3) Chest and Arms and 4) Face and Back. And it is OKAY to miss a week. We are parents first after all!!!
Join us and create special time for you & your little one. This class is ideal for babies but children are never to old to receive loving touch and siblings are welcome. Infant massage performed regularly improves babies sleep, digestion, and motor skills. It offers relief from colic, teething and gas pains, and helps them to relax and manage the stresses of life. Many moms come week after week, even after they have taken all four courses to create special time for themselves and their child.
If you are a new mom in the St. Louis area, consider joining our mommy playgroup (My Mommy Meetup) created to help you connect with yourself, your baby and other new moms in St. Louis. It really does take a village to raise a child. Take advantage of this and all the other resources online these days for new parents and know that you are not alone!!!
Day/time: Wednesdays, 10 – 11 am ($10)
Location: Richmond Heights, MO (I’ll give you the address when you register)
