Month One: Our Twins Birth Story

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so instead of writing our birth story for you, I’ve decided to share it with you in pictures. 37 pictures to be exact. That’s 37,000 words worth of story for you in just three minutes.

I hope you enjoy this and that it reminds you of your own birth story/ies. If you are pregnant, maybe even pregnant with twins, I hope that it inspires you to create the birth you and your partner are wanting to create for your little one. We successfully side stepped the O.R. (where everyone insisted twins are born!!!) and birthed in a labor and delivery room with the support of our doctor and the ones we loved around us.

To my husband Shawn, my Doula Kate and the best-est OBGYN in the world, Dr. Beth Gearhart… calm and in control, guiding me and my son through a breech birth into the world just 4 minutes after his sister made her grand entrance (head first)… THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT AND THE LOVE!!!
