How to Tell If Something is Safe?

How do you know if something is a health myth or a real health risk? One of our Expert Mommies, Dr. Cara Natterson wrote a book called, Dangerous or Safe? Which Foods, Medicines, and Chemicals Really Put Your Kids at Risk. As a pediatrician, she was finding that many doctors don’t have time to explain to patients why things are safe or not and as a result, there was a lot of misinformation.

Listen to what makes Dr. Natterson’s “Danger” list! You won’t want to miss this!

What do you think about cell phone use and/or genetically modified food?

I have a full sized microwave, had it for close to 20 years, and inside I can see several places where the metal is showng, the interior lining has, mostly on the bottom portion, and lower back wall. Is this safe to cook with? thanks…

The concern I would have is whether or not the metal would cause sparks that could start a fire.

Weird thing is – I have spent long hours on the phone… and have noticed irritation from keeping the phone near me; I have to resort to putting the call “on speaker” so I can talk…

Not sure if its just me – but I can literally feel the drain even when the phone is near me…
