This may sound incredibly hypocritical but I’ve been totally balking on providing internet access to my kids. We don’t have any WebKins. No Club Penguin. In fact, I make it a point to tuck my laptop away when they are not around. They hardly even see me on the computer. I’m not necessarily sure why… I think that I’ve just been really uncertain on how to introduce them to the online world, although I know it’s inevitable. So I was thrilled to get some coaching from our resident Youthologist and author, Vanessa Van Petten.
How have you navigated the online world with your tweens/teens?
