I heard myself saying that to a friend yesterday. I was referring to exactly the same thing, Suzanne! I watch how my kids so naturally and easily are in the present moment. They can hardly conceive of thinking about something other than what is going on right NOW... good or bad. If only I could be so FREE! Once in awhile I see my 6-year old weigh out future consequences and I feel a little tightness... like, "No!
