I'm reading her book "The Not So Big Life" right now and I like how she used an architectural perspective to look at her own inner life and gives a clear blueprint for her readers to plumb their depths as well (through journaling about what matters to them on the deepest level). I'm planning on doing the exercises which appear to help one with deep looking beyond just our present, bringing us back to what mattered to us as kids - the magical moments that entranced us.

Great book! Looking forward to watching your interview on the 29th!

Sarah,

I'm wanting to start on a long overdue renovation of our home. Our budget is limited so we'll have to concentrate our efforts in certain areas, initially. Where do you suggest we begin? Thanks.

Sarah-
I read the excerpt to your book and I really appreciated your list of key ingredients and especially your ending quote from Murray (and thank you for clearing up the confusion about attribution - I tried to figure this out and couldnt get a clear answer!) This quote was given to me by a mentor/teacher of mine a year ago and it really resonated with me! I agree that a planned, thoughtful approach to "unpeeling" the layers of conditioning is a great approach to try to get to the "yearnings of your heart and soul". thank you!

Sarah, Can't wait to finish your book. I live in a 'typical' 2 story home - with clutter piles and many other elements you identify :). Other than tearing out walls, what are the top 3 things you might recommend I do to immediately 'open' my home (and life?).
Thanks

Sarah,
Any good advice for turning a seldom used bedroom into a guest bedroom/office area? We need to use it for both but the big bed in the room overpowers the space.
