Thanks for sharing this about the book, and on the shoulding topic.

I “should” be more available to everyone in my flippin’ household… no matter when or what I’m doing…!!

    Gah.

Wow, that was powerful. If someone else tells me “I should….” in a judgmental tone I quickly tune them out…I don’t need someone else making me feel bad. But I never realized how often I say it to myself. And I do it all the time. About almost everything. Can’t wait to read the book.

Hooray. John Haydon suggested I check out your site and the story on this book. Yay. I’m raring to make some comments on this. I’ve been a Mom for almost 25 years and it’s time we speak up. Hooray for this.

I need to rid myself of allergies so I can respond with a better comment…..

“This isn’t a typical Mommy blog. In fact, I don’t think I’m a mommy blogger at all. I am, however, a Mom. My children are 24, 23, 13, 11 and 8. I have been a single Mom for over seven years…with the three youngest still at home, there is never a dull moment around here!”

Never dull i BET. thank you for how you share yourself with the WORLD. (Your story @ your 8yo and how she came home saying her friend that was home sick from school HAD to have had swine flu had my sides hurting)…LOL.
